This will be a MORG running the Hell Hole Jeep Trail and surrounding trails. I (Eric) will be leading an out and back to Hell Hole Reservoir. It is a challenging and technical trail with some really fun steep sections. If you like climbs, you are going to have a blast on your way out of Hell Hole. Minimum requirements for Hell Hole will be similar to the Rubicon, 33†tires, a rear locker, and a armored up rover. Body damage is definitely possible. This is a great test for people on the fence about running the Rubicon. If you can make it up this trail, you’ll be fine for the Rubicon.
Camping will be at French Meadows Reservoir. It is a really nice lake that has good fishing, camping facilities, and offers paddling opportunities. There are also plenty of fire roads to explore if your vehicle less rock crawler and more overlander. So you don’t need to run Hell Hole to come out and have a good time.
