Death Valley trip
Exact route still TBD, but plan is use each Saturday as transit days to/from area, giving us a full week to explore DV, the cabins, the passes, etc. Chime in with any destinations you'd like to see included in the thread here: http://norcalrovers.org/forum/index.php?/topic/6110-dv-in-april/
This won't be a rock crawling trip but more of an overland-style event suitable for moderately built Rovers, though I will try to include some mildly challenging sections for entertainment. I would recommend at a minimum a decent set of AT tires and good recovery points. For a reference for those of you who know my trucks I'll be bringing the LR3 instead of the D1. You also need to be self-sufficient for the entire trip re: food/water/shelter/supplies etc though we will try to stay at some of the cabins along the way. Of course these are first come-first serve so no guarantees.
