Need more snow time? Of course you do!
For our March MORG we'll be Visiting Uncle Tom's Cabin - https://www.facebook.com/UTCabin/
We'll meet at 10 in Georgetown where you'll want to fuel. From here we'll roll up mostly plowed Whentworth Springs Rd. A few miles before we reach Uncle Tom's the county stops plowing and with any luck we'll air down and hit the snow.
We'll stop at Uncle Tom's for a little hang-out time and a cold or warm beverage of your choice. Perhaps a quick lunch as well. From here we'll continue up Wentworth Springs rd to Ice House road and depending on conditions and time we'll either turn north and make a loop on unmaintained fire roads through Wentworth Springs Campground and back to Ice House, or we'll simply turn south on Ice House and exit on highway 50.
As always, we'll monitor 146.460. Conditions are unknown this far out but could be anything from mild to impassable depending on what the winter weather brings. This is the Sierra in winter, so even if it looks nice come prepared for sudden weather changes.
