You say you've never wheeled at night? But you have $5,000 in light bars - what do you mean you've never wheeled at night??? We need to correct that ASAP!
Our November MORG will be a night run at Signal Peak, plus a short run down Fordyce Saturday afternoon!
Meet at Indian Springs campground off I80 and Indian Springs rd and set up camp Saturday afternoon. Plan to head up the trail shortly after nightfall - approx 7pm.
Two options, for the more adventurous we'll go up the 'normal' way. For this I'd recommend 32" tires, sliders, and preferably a locker. Or for those less interested in playing on rocks you can come up backwards and meet the others at the top. This consists of fire roads and is passable by any Rover. Yes, even Evoques.
Those that want can come up early on Saturday and we'll head down to the first water crossing on Fordyce. For this I'd recommend 33" tires, full armor, and 1 or 2 lockers..
All trucks should have front and rear recovery points for either trail.
